Cover Supervisor Training

Course Content
This course is designed to enable you to succeed as a Cover Supervisor in a range of settings including mainstream and alternative schools. The course is structured as follows:
1. Introduction to Cover Supervision
2. Additional education CPD course- optional courses include but not limited to, working with behaviours that challenge, GDPR and an introduction to Mental Health First Aid.
4. Two week work placement in a school setting (self-organised)
5. Level 1 or 2 in Safeguarding and Child Protection course
6. Interview and assessment
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate from MHT Education and you will be able to include this in your professional portfolio.
Entry requirements-
Typically you will be a university student, graduate or a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of one years' experience.
If you have no prior classroom experience, we require a minimum of one week volunteering in a UK school setting.
